SCHOOL READINESS GOAL: Children will develop and demonstrate positive interactions and a sense of belonging through relationships with adults and peers.

Please choose one activity below, circle which one you completed, and sign when completed. Menus should be sent back when students return to school.

FAMILY FACE TIME: Look at family photos with your infant. Point to each person, say their name, and describe how they belong to the family. Pause for your infant to look, touch, smell, or vocalize.

COPY MY SMILE: Sit face-to-face with your infant. Smile, open your mouth, blink, or stick our your tongue. Pause so your infant can respond. Copy their expression or sound back to them.

HELLO AND GOODBYE: Practice waiving help and goodbye with a family member or stuffed animal. Help your infant wave if needed, use the person's name, and warmly respond to any movement or sound.

CUDDLE SONG: Hold or sit close to your infant and sing a familiar family song. Gently sway to the rhythm. Pause before a favorite word and watch for a smile, movement, or sound.

In addition to completing one of the above activities, please read together each NTI day.
