SCHOOL READINESS GOAL: Children will develop and demonstrate the ability to recognize the emotions of others and how to respond positively.

Please choose one activity below, circle which one you completed, and sign when completed. Menus should be sent back when students return to school.

Feelings Faces: Make different facial expressions and ask your child to describe how each person is feeling.

Mirror your child s emotions by standing in front of a mirror together and copy each other s facial expressions. Name the emotions.

Play a simple game that encourages waiting, sharing, and cheering for others. Example: Hide and Seek

Make faces at each other to guess the emotion.

In addition to completing one of the above activities, please read together each NTI day.
