SCHOOL READINESS GOAL: Children will be able to verbally/non-verbally express their wants and needs.

Please choose one activity below, circle which one you completed, and sign when completed. Menus should be sent back when students return to school.

Verbal Activity: During mealtimes, encourage your child to say or sign "more." 

Non-verbal Activity: Ask your child to point to pictures, name objects, or show what they want in a book or around your house.

Activity: During playtime with your child ask, "What toy?" and encourage pointing or naming that item.

Activity: Toy store dramatic play with toys or play food. Children practice asking for items, giving items, saying more, please, thank you.
 
In addition to completing one of the above activities, please read together each NTI day.
