Community Action Council has several part-time positions available right now!
Flexible Hours & Scheduling!
We’re offering flexible hours for part-time positions, and we can accommodate your schedule, including working around your college classes or picking your children up from school. Whether you need four-hour shifts, split shifts (2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon) or can only work two to three days per week, we have a spot for you!
A total of 20 hours per week is highly preferred but not required.
Many positions are available in Lexington and surrounding areas, including Madison County and more!
Minimal Qualifications!
Most part-time positions require a high school diploma to start (though we are also interested in those with higher education, too), and everyone must pass a background check.
Head Start Teacher V (level five), Assistant Teacher, and Teachers Aide positions have a minimal education level of a high school diploma. These positions require you to get a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, which we can help you earn at no cost to you!
Bus Drivers must have a CDL (Class A or Class B) with school bus and passenger endorsements.
