Central Bank’s “Unapologetically Woman Fall Sneaker Ball” helps Community Action Council create more jobs within the agency and allows the Council to connect more people with opportunities and resources. The sneaker theme represents the idea that our feet are still firmly planted on the ground here in our community as we work to prevent, reduce, and eliminate poverty through direct services and advocacy.
During the event, we will celebrate dozens of phenomenal Kentucky women who inspire, lead, and forge the way for others. As the name implies, an Unapologetic Woman dedicates herself, her skills, and her experiences to make an impact in her community.

Your support of the Unapologetically Woman Sneaker Ball 2022 allows the Council to offer critical short-term stabilizing support in temporary hardship cases. We provide long-term support to empower individuals and strengthen families by helping them create a pathway out of poverty. A portion of the proceeds will go towards community initiatives to reduce violence and its causes in the central Kentucky region. It’s a Party with a Purpose!
